The Jones Heward equity philosophy is based on the belief that a properly diversified portfolio of well-managed large capitalization stocks will, over long time periods, create long term wealth for clients.
Equities are managed on a Growth at A Reasonable Price ("GARP") basis. Securities selection is a critical element in adding value through the Jones Heward investment process.
The market is segmented and evaluated for two types of growth opportunities:
- Potential Earnings Growth.
- Valuation.
- Jones Heward incorporates its risk controlled investment process in the construction of the entire portfolio. Risk control parameters are applied to the selection of stocks comprising the portfolio recommendations. Considerations for risk control comprise specific industry or sector constraints, individual company constraints and continuous guideline monitoring.
- Jones Heward is committed to its investment philosophy and to a disciplined investment process. Should the original factors underlying our purchase of a security change, the investment fundamentals are reviewed. If the stock fails to meet our standards, it will be sold.
